Buying a vehicle
We are here to provide all details for purchasing your new (old) vehicle. We invite you or your mechanic to view and thorough inspect the vehicle. Please phone us to discuss your interest and arrange for a private un-pressured viewing time. Because we know and respect that these vehicles are very special and emotional purchases.
The vehicles we sell on behalf of are pre-owned or older “classic” cars, and while we try to obtain as much information as possible about previous owners, maintenance, restorations etc, in most cases we cannot be sure the information we have is complete. We can provide a pre-purchase inspection for each vehicle from an independent garage, however our description of the vehicles is largely based on a visual examination of the car and information from the current owner.
Any sale is on the condition that the purchaser relies on their own judgement and does not rely on our skill judgement or on any representation made by us. This applies even if the Purchaser has not inspected the vehicle before purchase. We strongly recommend that you have the vehicle inspected by an independent assessor qualified to comment on the particular vehicle’s condition. We are able to organise this for you on your behalf at your cost.
No older vehicle can be expected to be as reliable as a new one and so all our vehicles are sold on an as is where is condition basis. Mechanical breakdowns, electronic failures and maintenance costs are part and parcel of owning a classic and older vehicle. Reliability is a combination of the particular vehicle, how it has been driven and maintained.
